The cane is terrific. Fashionable rarely has long canes with dog heads, and this cane's art work is great. The carving is great. The size of the Labrador's sculpted head is large enough for your hand, and very comfortable. Thank you.

I read some of the negatives about this cane and I have to disagree. Of course the color of the dog won't match the cane color since you chose the cane color, the looseness one person mention is just things go wrong in production but I'm sure Fashionable Canes would be more than happy to resolve that, ours was firmly attached. Also the dog is made of plastic (I think) but while the color isn't as brown as I would have preferred it still looks really nice, and since it's probably plastic the oil from you hands after years of use won't slowly change the color of the dog or wear off the color stain, so I think that's a positive. Overall though I felt the cane is very well constructed and the price was very reasonable plus it came to the home fast, so for all of that combined 5 stars is in order. We did order ours with the Ovangkol wood and the 24k gold colored brass collar, and that combination with the color of the dog really went well together. (maybe the factory selects the brown color of the dog depending on the wood selected?) We also ordered the leather strap which seems to be well made; and we got the four pronged base for more stability, keep in mind folks that the rubber end (this was a pain to get off which is good thing so it stays on during use, or the four pronged end (which was a bit easier to get on), will eventually wear out from use and need to be replaced, as will the leather strap. Great product, if it holds up over the years we would not hesitate to buy…

Wish I did not have to use a cane, but if you do you should look good and this outfit offers the look others will notice.
